What started as a passion for the beauty industry blossomed into a career in skincare.  I graduated esthetic school and started my journey as a facialist - first at boutique spas and eventually in the dermatology field.  I was motivated by client results and an obsession with products.  I wanted to be the best by using the power of ingredients combined with amazing facial techniques.

Years later, Monika Dragaj Skin Studio was born.  I stood outside handing out flyers, walked all over town introducing myself to local businesses.  I gave away so many free facials and spent so much time making content to promote myself.  With the power of social media & word of mouth, less than two years later I was fully booked, no longer accepting new clients and voted as Best of Westchester.  I worked alone morning until night 7 days a week, putting every single penny back into the business. I loved growing this business so much, it was an addiction.

Eventually there was a client demand to reorder products and ShopSkinStudio.com was born.  

I have curated a collection of the best products over the past few years and have tried & approved every single item that is on my shopping platform.  I worked on this website for what feels like YEARS.  I wanted to provide an easy, clean, esthetic shopping experience unlike any other.
